Salty Seamon Watercolor Prints
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology welcomes you to the artistic career of Denzil Omer Seamon, the man most commonly known as "Salty".
Barns, covered bridges, old mills, village churches, and one room school houses are among the subjects for which Salty was best known to paint. Over the years, Salty has produced more than an estimated 5,000 watercolor paintings.
In 1997, Rose-Hulman and the Wabash Valley lost a dear friend when Salty died at the age of 86. As a last wish, Salty wanted Rose-Hulman to be the permanent home of their enormous private collection of Salty's work. This makes for the largest collection of Salty's work anywhere. It is rare to find such a comprehensive collection of works by one artist in one place.
On this webpage you may view and order a number of available prints from Salty's work.
